A native of the island, Nicole is no stranger to one of the island’s major industries- Tourism & Hospitality. As a young girl, she put her tenacity to work for many of the famous coastal restaurants and attractions, eventually graduating into bartending at fast-paced tourist hot spots, where her vibrant and engaging personality garnered her great success. A networking natural, she recently made the jump into real estate and has been helping new residents in search of their own slice of island life.   An experienced REALTOR®, Emily Evans has a passion for guiding people. A native Houstonian, she graduated from Texas A&M Galveston with a degree in Ocean and Coastal Resources, taught Marine Science in Texas, South Carolina, Costa Rica, and Baja, Mexico. She helped run an eco-adventure company in La Paz, Baja, planning custom trips and led whale, fish, and birdwatching tours across Baja. In her words, “I never imagined that I would be helping people buy and sell their most valued coastal resource, their home. I grew up inside the loop in Houston always enjoying trips to Galveston. No other coastal city in the U.S. boasts the bounty of Galveston. It is truly a gem on the Gulf Coast.” 

Emily’s travels and education have uniquely equipped her as a guide through the Galveston home-buying process.  Because she understands this niche coastal market, she can navigate the neighborhoods and waterways surrounding them, and connect her clients with local contractors, inspectors, and even fishing guides.  She’s helped many clients identify investment properties and manage concierge services for short-term vacation rentals.
