She helped run an eco-adventure company in La Paz, Baja, planning custom trips and led whale, fish, and birdwatching tours across Baja. Missie Stephenson is a native of Beaumont, Texas. She has worked throughout Texas, is now residing in the Galveston area but spends a lot of her time in all areas of Texas. Missie worked as an event planner in Chicago, marketing assistant in Beaumont and eventually started teaching English as a second language in other countries.
